Envirogen Announces New Premises in Alfreton, Derbyshire Providing Best In Class Manufacturing and Global Distribution Centre
Envirogen Water Technologies, a leading provider of water and wastewater solutions today announces the opening of their new premises in Alfreton, Derbyshire. The new location will become Envirogen’s Centre of manufacturing and distribution at just over 22,000 square feet, for at least the next 10 years.
The new facility boasts best in class manufacturing processes in line with ISO 9001 regulations as well as meeting the specific requirements of various sectors, including the food and beverage market and the MOD, offering the very latest engineering techniques and manufacturing processes from; wet test and welding facilities, factory acceptance testing and a customer viewing platform, giving the capability for plant to be built at Alfreton as it would be on a customer’s own site. The outside area has enough capacity to build up to 8 containerised plants simultaneously. The added office space houses the European design, projects and proposals teams, including electrical and mechanical engineers, CAD specialists and installation experts. Envirogen boasts this allows enhanced integration to better solve complex customer requirements. The new site will accommodate anticipated growing staff numbers, with further office space, three meeting rooms and a customer presentation suite.
The location was chosen due to its proximity to the Envirogen customer base, good motorway links and international airports, meaning Envirogen is well positioned to support the growing number of overseas companies they work with.
